Students for a Free Tibet UK is powered almost entirely by volunteers, due to our small budget and grassroots structure. Volunteers are an essential part of the work that takes place at SFT UK; the board are all volunteers and if you’re interested in volunteering too, we’d really like to hear from you. If you can’t dedicate time to the Tibetan cause, you may be able to help with things like useful contacts you might have, skills we could use and so on.
We often need volunteers for events, or even better, organise your own! And of course we’re always on the lookout for students who want to start groups at their unis, colleges or sixth forms, and can help these groups out with materials, talks and of course advice!
