tftibet Tattoo artists contributes to SFT!

This 7th October 2010, Graham Martin, a body modification artist based in Manchester, and former president of the Tattoo & Piercing Industry Union (TPI), along with his team of  60 tattoo artists from across the World will donate their wages from at least one tattoo to Students for a Free Tibet to commemorate the Tibetan people’s non-violent resistance to Chinese occupation.. This October SFT UK brings you the RENAISSANCE SERIES – amplyfing everything  that is banned in Chinese-occupied Tibet.

Since widespread protests swept across the Tibet plateau in March 2008, the Chinese government has arrested and imprisoned numerous Tibetan writers, artists, and intellectuals for expressing their views and resisting China’s oppression. Tibetans, supporters call for Runggye Adak’s release

Three years after his arrest, footage of Runggye Adak’s bold protest speech at the Lithang Horse Racing Festival has been publicly released. Adak is serving an 8-year prison sentence for simply denouncing China’s policies in Tibet and calling for the return of the Dalai Lama. Take action for Runggye Adak’s release.
